Last updated: [[LAST_UPDATED]]. This policy explains your right of withdrawal
(the “cooling-off” right) when you buy premium credits from Old District
(olddistrict.com, operated by [[OPERATOR_NAME]]). It applies to
consumers in the EU/EEA under the Consumer Rights Directive; consumers elsewhere may have similar rights under
local law.
As a consumer buying at a distance, you normally have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, without giving any reason. Premium credits in Old District are “digital content”, so a special rule applies (see section 2).
Premium credits are delivered to your account immediately after your payment is confirmed. Under the law, the 14-day right of withdrawal is lost for digital content once its delivery/performance has begun, provided that, at the time of purchase, you:
By buying credits and confirming these two points at checkout, you agree to immediate delivery and accept that the credits, once delivered, cannot be withdrawn and are non-refundable, except where they are faulty or not as described.
If, for any reason, credits have not yet been delivered to your account (for example a payment is still pending), you may still withdraw within the 14-day period, and we will refund what you paid using the same payment method (PayPal).
Your statutory rights are unaffected. If credits are not delivered, are delivered incorrectly, or do not work as described, contact us and we will correct the problem or provide a refund as required by law.
To withdraw, send us a clear statement of your decision before the deadline, by e-mail to [email protected]. Include your username and the order/invoice reference so we can find the purchase. You may use the model form below, but you do not have to. Where a refund is due, we will process it without undue delay and within 14 days of accepting the withdrawal, using PayPal.
EU consumers can also submit a complaint through the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform. This does not affect your right to contact us directly first.
We may update this policy; material changes will be shown by a new “Last updated” date above. Questions go to [email protected].
